Optical Resources warrants to the
original purchaser, any product purchased from us to be in good working
condition for a period of one year for parts, except where the original manufacturers'
warranty period is different, and two years for labor from the date of purchase. If
a component of the product
fails during this one year period, Optical Resources will repair or replace,
at its option, any defective parts free of charge. Any replacement parts
used in the repair of any defective equipment, parts or peripherals may be
new or refurbished at Optical Resources' option. The customer is responsible
for all shipping costs associated with returning a product to Optical
Resources and the cost of shipping the repaired product back to the
customer. The original invoice is required before warranty performance
is rendered. This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials
and/or workmanship which occur during normal use. The warranty does not
cover damage that occurs in shipment or failures that result from accident,
misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration,
modification or attempt to service this product by anyone other than Optical
Resources.
Extended Warranties
Optical Resources offers an At Depot Extended
Warranty Program for its
Super IDE Pro series line of DVD and CD tower duplicators, DVD-ROM and
CD-ROM LAN towers and servers and its autoloading DVD and CD duplicators. The
At Depot Extended Warranty Program is a one year extension of the
product's original warranty and it ends twenty-four (24) months from the
date of the original Optical Resources' invoice. This program puts
your equipment at the top of the list for troubleshooting and repair.
Your equipment will be returned much faster than with basic warranty
service. There is no charge for the labor to fix the unit and all
parts are covered on a pro-rata basis based on the number of months the
product was used.
Many of the products sold by Optical Resources come with an Original Manufacturers
Warranty which is extended past the Optical Resources One Year Limited Warranty. In the
event such products need repair, the customer may process the warranty directly with the
manufacturer or they may contact our Customer Service Department and Optical Resources will process
the repair for them. Optical Resources does not accept liability for products warranted by
such manufacturers other than to process the product according to the manufacturers
standard procedures.
Limits and Exclusions
Optical Resources shall not be liable for
incidental or consequential use of any of our products. Furthermore, our liabilities
are limited to the value of the product itself and not any value place on the equipment by
the user. Optical resources is not liable for any damage to information or loss of
time arising from the failure of our product.
