FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) to IDE (ATA/ATAPI) bridge board featuring Oxford OXFW912 FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) to IDE Bridge Controller.  The 1394B-OX is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications for removable-media drives CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drive, and hard disk drive. It allows two IDE drives (Master and Slave) to be connected to FireWire (IEEE 1394) serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.

The 1394B-IDE6 bridge board provides up to 400mbps data connection between ATA/ATAPI peripheral devices and 1394/FireWire computer ports. With our FireWire to IDE bridge board, any IDE/ATAPI CD-RW, DVD, HDD, MO can be converted into a FireWire device.  With the integrated Serial Bus Protocal (SBP-2), it can use generic device drivers available in the Microsoft Win98SE, WinME, Win2000, WinXP and MAC OS 8.6 or higher.
